What is Microneedling?
Collagen induction therapy utilizes 9 precisely spaced microneedles in a small cartridge that allows us to create thousands of micro channels on the skin. These micro channels allow for better product penetration pre and post procedure. As a result, the skin starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro-perforations. The self-repairing process is a natural form of skin renewal from the inside out. Microneedling, improves wrinkles, skin density, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, scars, lax skin, UV damage and stretch marks. This single use pin is quick, safe and hygienic and can be used on all skin types, even those with darker skin. Microneedling can be used as a single treatment or combined with other therapies to achieve optimal results. Microneedling has been around for many years in a different and less effective form and was developed by a pioneering plastic surgeon in South Africa.
