Patients ask me all the time how they can tighten the skin on their arms. Unfortunately, there is no diet or exercise that helps with excess arm skin. Hanging skin is bothersome because of its movement and because it alters your appearance in clothing and swimwear. The size of the upper arm and the hanging skin is reduced with an arm lift. The arms are left with tightened skin, more normal shape and size, and a thin scar extending up the inside/back of the arm.
