Patient #1890 - Tummy Tuck
Before and After

When you can't hold your stomach in and you feel like you still look 6 months pregnant, you may need a tummy tuck. Through an incision low down on the abdomen and around the belly button, abdominal puffiness can be improved. This repair can bring strength to the body, reduce the bulge, and even improve lower back pain. During pregnancy, the stomach muscles thin, separate, and overstretch. They don't always return to their normal, pre-pregnancy state. Even after months or years of working out and eating right, the stomach muscles may not look the way you want them to. The damage pregnancy can wreak is different with every woman. Some women have no residual effect after childbirth and others have significant changes. As a surgeon, it is important to me to assess each patient's physical structure and anatomy so I can choose the correct operation.
