The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, meaning you can go home the same day of surgery. You get to pick the size you want to be when Dr. Gurley helps you envision the possibilities. The incisions produce a scar around the areola, and down from the areola to the crease underneath the breast. There is a limited scar beneath the breast depending on how much excess skin is removed. All stitches are dissolvable and drains are not needed. Even with the post surgical healing you will be able to enjoy more proportionate and age appropriate breasts right away.
Recovery
What can I expect?
Following the surgery, there is no limitation on range of motion of the arms or showering. You may drive and return to work or school within 24 hours. We recommend that you refrain from running, jogging or any strenuous exercise for 4-6 weeks. You will quickly enjoy more perky, lifted, smaller breasts that are more comfortable and will allow you to wear the clothing you’ve always wanted.
