Chemical peels penetrate into the top layers of your skin in order to reveal healthier cells below. Once precise and careful consideration is given to the type of peel you need, then we can determine the depth and penetration of the peel. Treatment
What does the procedure entail?
Chemical peels take 30 minutes to apply in our office. After the peel has been applied, you will leave with a with a protective ointment and instructions on how to care for your skin the following days.
Recovery
What can I expect?
For several days after the peel, you may notice redness or flaking of the skin. New skin will start to appear 7-10 days after the procedure, and more noticeable effects will take place in the months following the procedure. For deeper peels, you may have additional downtime.
